INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH TEAMS OF SIX

IS T6M FOR ME

WHAT IS T6M...

                 ...How Does it Work?

T6M is a group of six people who work together using a methodology designed to help them help each other achieve goals and dreams and to do so with passion, enthusiasm and velocity.

The time a T6M group is together is one year, a duration suitable to manifesting larger objectives. The first two months are when T6M trains you in the method of interaction that your group will use for the year.

As a group participant, you promise to always put your focus and energy on supporting the other five members in your group;  a group will fail if its members join only to get something for themselves. "But what's in it for me?" You ask. You get the support of five people cheering, nudging and supporting you in achieving your goals.

T6M trains you in three areas that you then practiced throughout the year: leadership, accountability and mastermind synergy. You will discover and grow your capacities as a leader. You will learn ways to hold others to account and produce results. You will work together as consultants to define and refine the best ways to achieve each of your goals.

Team 6 Method, LLC is a training business in the personal growth industry. Your group, once formed, is trained by us over a two month period in our propriotory methodology. The success of your group depends greatly on its adherence to the method itself.

T6M is not a book, a coach or a seminar. It is a technique that helps individuals achieve greater success in living the lives they wish to live. It is through your group that the work happens and it is through your group that you gain another unique opportunity, to know the other members in a most authentic manner.

T6M does not form your group. You will form your own group or be invited. This puts you in the position to have the group of your choice. You may have a group that is rather equal in ambition, you can go for diversity or you can form a group of similar professional interests. Most participants use T6M for professional goals, however, there are some for whom personal matters are where they want the most support.

Is there a reason not to do T6M? Many participants after their year experience fuller lives - they have more to do not less. Although "more" sounds like too much already, the "more" our participants experience is the "more" that means more exciting.

“The level of commitment in a T6M group is uncanny! We hold each other up to the highest standard of living the best possible lives we can. And it's fun!”   ~ Adam B.

There are two ways to get into a T6M group. The first and recommended way is to become a Group Creator. This means that you reach out and invite the people you want in your group. The typical time frame for this process is two months. To become a Group Creator, contact T6M and register. You will receive an informative Welcome Kit containing essential start-up supplies.

During the group formation process, a facilitator from T6M works with you to assist you in crafting what is a rather unusual invitation. We also coach you through the process as there are times when it can feel a bit discouraging. As people say yes, T6M completes their registration process. Forming a group is challenging but also very rewarding. The people who form groups tend to get the most out of their year in a T6M group.

The other way to get into a T6M group is to register into our data base and be called when a group is forming in your area. This is a much less predictable way of getting into a T6M group as groups may or may not be forming in your area.

T6M does not form groups, our clients do. This helps assure that our clients have the kind and quality of group that they wish to have.

To register for a group requires a conversation with a T6M facilitator, a signed enrollment contract and a non-refundable deposit. As of September 1, 2011 the tuition is $650 per person; the non-refundable registration deposit is $100. The balance of your tuition is due two weeks prior to your Launch.

As a group forms, there is a target Launch date, typically a Saturday or Sunday. This is a full day event from 8:45AM through 5:00PM including a working lunch. A group cannot launch without all members in attendance.

During your year of participation your group will begin with the full one-day Launch mentioned above. It will meet in person once per month for three hours. It will have a weekly conference call for one hour. And, there are two or three short buddy calls during the week. The training consists of three weekly conference calls after the Launch, the attendance of a T6M facilitator at your first monthly meeting, and another three weekly calls of training. Each participant receives the Team 6 Method manual.

“My husband was worried when I joined. He’s so happy for me and my business; now he is encouraging me to keep going and do year two!” ~ Melissa T.

        ...What Should I Consider?

The first thing to consider is what are the dreams and goals you wish to achieve? In a T6M group, you will have five people cheering and nudging you toward the fulfillment of your dreams and goals, so it is vital that you are clear, certain and ready to act before joining a T6M group. Next, consider the year ahead. Being in a T6M group involves monthly face-to-face meetings, weekly calls and email. Will you be here a year from now or is there a strong likelihood that you will be relocating? Do you travel frequently? Do you have predictable hours and can make long term plans? If a move is imminent, or you have an erratic schedule, you would not be a good candidate at this time. Choose participation in a T6M group when you can fully participate; remember, five other people will be counting on you.

Think about your ability to participate fully. T6M groups need people who finish what they start, who play hard and who fight to the end. If you are someone who has a past of loosing interest or changing horses mid-stream, T6M is not for you. It cannot be said enough that the most successful T6M groups have members who stay the course, even when challenges come along, and who are there on time and alert for every meeting and every phone call.

Now consider if you are someone who is coachable. Your fellow participants will work with you, discuss your objectives and help shape new strategies; what often emerges are new ways for you to act. Will you take it in and try out the new ways? If the answer is no, then it is unlikely that such a group will make much of a difference.

Courage matters. You will be asked to step out of your comfort zone and take risks. You'll need a bit of courage. The good news is that a T6M group can work with even the tiniest bit of courage to help you overcome the challenges that hold you back or slow you down.

Being earnest and sincere. T6M is not going to be "the answer" or "the big breakthrough." It is about being serious about what you want to do.

Think about the other people who will be in your group. Typically T6M attracts those who are entrepreneurs, small business owners and the self-employed be they consultants,  contractors, freelancers or creative arts professionals. The typical age range is 30-50 years old. Does working with this type of person sound like what you are looking for?

“The structure and size of a T6M group works very well. The monthly meetings are great. The 10-Point Game is a great way to set goals and meet them.”   ~ Paul S.
